The Alameda County Farm Bureau has begun accepting applications for four scholarships—two Alameda County Farm Bureau Scholarships and two Tom Kitayama Jr. Memorial Scholarships.

The scholarships are open to any student (including past applications and winners) eligible to attend College or Junior College in the coming year, with plans to major in agriculture or a related field. The applicant must have a permanent address in Alameda County but does not need to be a Farm Bureau member.
